Job Description

A dynamic and client-focused professional is required to provide superior services to the community. As a key member of the team, you will respond to requests for assistance across Queensland.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage emergency situations using negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Apply the SOLVE framework to request resources for incident response.
  • Accurately relay data using voice communications equipment.
  • Research police data management systems to gather information on relevant persons, vehicles, and locations.
  • Review incidents, assess tasks, and update incidents with relevant information.
  • Liaise with other service providers to allocate resources.
  • Adhere to information security policies.
  • Interpret and relay information related to legislation, policies, and procedures.
Essential Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Participate in a 24-hour, 7-day roster.
  • Undergo regular alcohol and/or drug testing.
  • Provide a keyboard skills certificate with a minimum of 40 words per minute at 98% accuracy.
  • Complete assessments including typing, call-taking simulation, and cognitive ability tests.
  • Undergo psychological assessment.
  • Provide an approved hearing test.
