Meals Coordinator

This is a role that involves cooking and supporting nutrition and meal provision in an early learning setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector, with a demonstrated ability to implement seasonal menus created by our nutritionist.
Responsibilities:- Implement seasonal menus developed by our nutrition team
- Maintain regular checks to ensure compliance with NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations
- Support high-quality education and care for children and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program
- Maintain professional relationships between management, staff, families and children
- Experience as a Cook/Chef in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector
- ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not mandatory)
- Commercial Cooks qualification
- Food Handlers Basics Certificate
- Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS
