We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to provide high-quality meal service in a residential care environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a quality dining experience and supporting their peers in a cooperative team environment.
- Provide resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and serving meals in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
- Support your colleagues and maintain a positive working relationship with residents and their families
Key qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for delivering exceptional care and support to residents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent
- Good understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and establish professional relationships with residents and their families
