Job Description

As a skilled Clinician, you will be part of the critical first step in someone's care journey - helping clients, General Practitioners, and service providers navigate mental health and alcohol and other drugs services with clarity and clinical confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Clinical Triage: reviewing referrals and matching clients with the right level of care across the stepped care model.
  • Support and Guide: General Practitioners, referrers, and providers to navigate options, manage risk, and make timely, effective referrals.
  • Stay alert to complexity and risk: taking a proactive approach to escalations and stepping in with sound clinical judgment.
  • Troubleshoot complex cases: handling complex referrals, eligibility questions, or those cases that don't fit neatly in a box.
  • Ensure accurate, timely data entry and contribute to system improvements behind the scenes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You're a clinician who's not afraid of complexity and thrives on bringing clarity.
  • Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, or Nurse with strong clinical experience.
  • Strong understanding of the mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and psychosocial service landscape.
  • Ability to think quickly, act decisively, and bring energy to everything you do.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in client management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
