Lead Clinical Instructor

Job Description:

As a Lead Clinical Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and supervising undergraduate nursing students in various clinical settings. This part-time position requires a skilled professional with strong clinical expertise and teaching abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical support and instruction to students, helping them develop their learning and confidence.
  • Liaise with the Placement Coordinator and Early Career Lead to manage student placements and rosters.
  • Collate and write reports on student performance, using accurate criteria for formative and summative assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in nursing practice and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency as a Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of education frameworks, including Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment.
  • Experience working within healthcare settings, with well-developed knowledge of all clinical areas and disciplines.
