The role of a Pastoral Care Volunteer involves providing spiritual and emotional support to elderly clients in their homes. This opportunity allows you to work alongside a local Christian church, supporting the well-being of individuals who may be isolated or feeling disconnected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals to meet their spiritual needs

As a Pastoral Care Volunteer, you will have the chance to form meaningful connections with clients, listening to their stories and offering companionship. This role requires empathy, understanding, and a willingness to provide comfort and prayerful support.

Requirements:
  • Age 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

Visits can be scheduled on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on your availability. We would be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
