Role Overview
CPL is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intake Officer to join our Mylestones team in Teneriffe. As an Intake Officer, you will play a critical role in coordinating and completing participant intakes within designated Employment Service Areas, providing a pathway to open employment for people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the intake of all participants, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Conduct assessments of participants' needs and suitability for services, as well as eligibility requirements for CPL and relevant funding bodies.
- Develop initial Job Plans, addressing barriers to employment and ensuring positive outcomes for participants.
- Liaise with schools to ensure intakes meet eligibility requirements and build relationships for referrals.
- Build positive networks and relationships with disability employment-related organizations.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.
- Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Disability Employment Services (DES) Eligibility Criteria.
- Highly effective communication, networking, and rapport-building skills.
