CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Intake Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and completing all participant intakes within designated Employment Service Areas.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the intake of all participants, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Conduct assessments of participants' needs and suitability for services, as well as eligibility requirements for CPL and relevant funding bodies.
- Ensure referrals and commencements meet Disability Support Services (DSS) contractual obligations.
- Develop initial Job Plans, addressing any barriers to employment, to ensure positive outcomes for participants.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all funding bodies through software and reporting.
- Liaise with schools to ensure intakes meet eligibility requirements and build relationships for referrals.
- Establish and maintain positive networks and relationships with disability employment-related organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.
- Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Disability Employment Services (DES) Eligibility Criteria.
- Highly effective communication, networking, and rapport-building skills.
- Preferred previous experience with the intake process of participants into a DES Program and matching to employment staff.
- 'Can-do' attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to build key partnerships with businesses in the local community.
- A valid C-class driving license.
- Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (CPL can assist with this).
