Nurse Educator

Deliver high-quality training programs for nurses to improve patient care outcomes by formulating and delivering in-service educational initiatives. Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of these programs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement competency-based training initiatives to enhance clinical skills development.
- Mentor and coach less experienced staff to foster a learning culture.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise as a workplace trainer and assessor.
Requirements
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications, and/or current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the relevant clinical/speciality field with demonstrated knowledge of competency/skills requirements.
- Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach with ability to use contemporary education methods.
This is a Category A position; comply with NSW Health policy PD2024_015. Vaccination against influenza is compulsory for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities or working in NSW Health RACFs.
