Clinical Nurse Educator

A key role in delivering high-quality patient care is that of the Clinical Nurse Educator. In this position, you will be responsible for providing clinical training at a ward/unit level by formulating and delivering in-service educational programs; assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Develop and implement educational materials to support clinical practice
  • Mentor less experienced staff to improve their clinical competencies
Requirements:
  • Current registration with a relevant healthcare regulatory authority as a Registered Nurse
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications or certification in education and/or workplace training
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant clinical specialty with demonstrated knowledge of competency requirements
  • Proven ability to use contemporary education methods to motivate staff towards a learning culture
