Program Director Position

We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of engaging, age-specific programs for children in our care.

About This Role

You will report directly to the Service Manager and work collaboratively with educators, families, and the community to deliver exceptional early childhood education while maintaining our commitment to safeguarding and protecting children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and implement innovative, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Mentor and support educators, fostering a professional team environment.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the safety, well-being, and protection of all children within your care.
  • Build strong relationships with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress and encouraging involvement in their child's program.
  • Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements, deliver innovation, and strive for continuous improvement in service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in leading educational programs in an early childhood setting.
  • In-depth understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child protection legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their rights.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid training.
