Warehouse Operations Supervisor Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and oversee daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in supervisory or leadership roles with experience in warehouse management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage inventory, dispatch, and receive processes efficiently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate the team and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • A strong understanding of OH&S standards and physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of 10 warehouse staff during the afternoon shift.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and manage stock control processes.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in line with OH&S standards.
  • Monitor team performance and productivity, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct shift handovers and ensure clear communication across teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Operate and oversee use of warehouse systems and equipment.
  • Train and on-board new team members as required.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
