About The Role:

This hands-on Warehouse Manager role is crucial for ensuring seamless inbound, storage and outbound operations. You will lead a team of 16+ warehouse staff across multiple shifts, manage inventory control, labour utilisation and set clear standards across all facets of warehousing.

You will play a key leadership role across the site and wider business, with autonomy to implement change and drive continuous improvement initiatives – particularly around cost management, inventory integrity, team culture and supply chain optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across three shifts, ensuring timely delivery and storage of goods
  • Drive cultural change, engagement and accountability among the team, fostering a positive work environment
  • Lead, coach and develop warehouse supervisors, team leaders and forklift drivers to achieve high performance standards
  • Review and manage third-party logistics relationships, freight costs and delivery schedules to optimise supply chain efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for labour efficiency and cost savings, implementing process improvements to drive business results
  • Champion food safety compliance, including allergen handling and material flow, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to ensure accurate delivery and storage timing, minimising stockouts and overstocking
  • Contribute to site leadership team decisions and strategic planning, driving business growth and expansion
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing a warehouse team in FMCG, with expertise in food manufacturing or food processing industries
  • Strong people leadership: approachable, fair, firm and engaging, with ability to foster team culture and performance through structure and clarity
  • Ability to understand and manage inventory processes, cost management and ERP systems
  • Experience working in a high-performance, hands-on environment, with comfort level adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
