Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Mental Health Professional to join our team.

The successful applicant will be working within the Country Wellness Connections program delivering individual support and group programs. The Community Mental Health Worker will provide goal based psychosocial support to participants in the community as well as assist with NDIS access if applicable.

This role offers an opportunity to work closely with staff and participants to promote recovery, inspire hope and facilitate a process wherein participants can:

  • Link in with people to help improve their wellbeing
  • Connect with family or with community
  • Enjoy a full and vibrant quality of life

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications or experience relevant to mental health
  • Sound knowledge and awareness of mental health challenges
  • Capacity to work both autonomously and within teams
  • Experience with person centred and recovery oriented frameworks
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs and relevant software
  • Mandatory checks: DHS Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
  • Current SA Drivers Licence and willingness to use own vehicle
  • Understanding of the NDIS
