This role is responsible for leading and managing the Maternity to Child and Family Health Transition of Care project within the Health Contact Centre.
The project aims to provide families with an early clinical telehealth consultation after discharge from maternity services, promoting a seamless transition from maternity care to child healthcare services in the community.
This initiative is part of the Putting Queensland Kids First program led by Children's Health Queensland, focusing on collaboration and service planning, design, information communication technology solutions, and organisational change.
The successful candidate will lead effective and efficient delivery of the project, managing scope, time, cost, procurement, quality, risk, human resources, and communication management in line with endorsed project management frameworks.
This role requires exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to deliver projects in collaboration with health service stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have a high level of project management skills, including experience in designing large-scale and complex projects with successful outcomes.
In addition to project management expertise, the successful candidate will understand the whole health system, including interrelationships within state and federal governments, non-government and private sectors, Primary Health Networks, Hospital and Health Services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations, and primary and community care providers and peak bodies.
The role also involves enabling informed decision-making on project requirements and issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers for project stakeholders.
