At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our North Shore Coastal Palliative Care team. In this role, you will be part of a provider team that offers care to palliative patients in their homes, hospices, and acute settings.

  • You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and execute individualized care plans that honor the patient's wishes and enhance their quality of life.">
  • As a Nurse Practitioner with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment of patients and clients, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.">
  • Initiate treatment, including health care management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribe medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions.">
  • Provide professional guidance to other health professionals and participate autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary health teams.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) plus 4 years of recent and relevant clinical nursing experience.">
