Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers to understand their cloud security needs and environments.
  • Develop and deliver virtual and live product demonstrations to showcase the value of our cloud security solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Sysdig to evangelize our offerings and tailor them to meet specific customer needs.
  • Assist customers with proof-of-concepts (POCs) and drive customer success.
  • Interface with Sysdig support, customer success, and professional services teams to ensure happy customers are empowered to get the most out of our product.
  • Contribute to the development of the Sysdig Sales Engineering organization's culture and future direction.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the cloud security landscape and articulate the challenges of securing cloud-native applications.
  • Communicate effectively about the intersection of open-source and commercial offerings in the cloud security space.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers and prospects, guiding them through the complexities of cloud security.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of technical sales experience with infrastructure and enterprise software.
  • Experience with the container ecosystem and microservices.
  • Significant Fortune 500 customer-facing experience.
  • An optimistic and energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A history of success working directly with end-users.
  • World-class reliability and responsiveness to customer inquiries.
  • Experience balancing multiple customers while achieving quick results.
  • Client management and organizational/business awareness.
  • Prior startup experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in command-line interfaces for Linux and Mac OSX.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with proven client-facing abilities.
  • Programming proficiency is a plus.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a top university is highly valued.
