Commercial Construction Site Administration Job Description

The role of a Commercial Construction Site Administrator is to oversee the administrative aspects of construction projects. This includes ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination, as well as documenting project progress.

In this position, you will work closely with project teams to review and distribute project drawings, manage timesheets and labour control, and assist in the pre-construction and post-construction phases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Documentation Management:
    • Review and distribute project drawings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collation of Timesheets / Labour Control:
    • Process timesheets accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies.
  • Pre-construction and Post-Construction Phases Assistance:
    • Document preparation, scheduling, and compliance checks are key components of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction administration.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination.
  • Proficiency in payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent is highly desirable.
