Electrical Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to coordinate and deliver electrical projects across the ACT.

This role is ideal for someone with an electrical trade background who enjoys being out in the field, working closely with crews, and ensuring jobs are scoped, planned, and delivered safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing work packages for field crews, ensuring all required resources, subcontractors, and safety measures are in place before work begins.
  • Coordinating and delivering work packages to crews, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project timelines and safety standards.
  • Leading crews on-site throughout the day by actively guiding and supporting them to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to plan outages, manage access, and support smooth project delivery.
  • Ensuring quality assurance processes are followed, and that all completed works are accurately captured for invoicing and close-out.
  • Managing subcontractors on-site, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and performance expectations.
  • Supporting compliance with safety and environmental standards, conducting site checks and promoting a safety-first culture.

About You

You should have a solid electrical background and a strong understanding of what it takes to get the job done right in the field.

You are organised, safety-focused, and confident working with crews, clients, and contractors to keep things on track.

We are looking for someone with:

  • An electrical trade qualification (essential).
  • At least 5 years' experience in the electrical industry.
  • Previous experience in planning, scoping, and/or leading field crews.
  • A strong understanding of subcontractor disciplines and job requirements.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to following processes and ensuring quality.
