Maritime Warfare Training Specialist

This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team facilitating warfare training and command and control training for the Royal Australian Navy, as well as Joint and Combined forces.
The role will involve providing realistic and real-world command chain actions and reactions of synthetic events in order to assist with the training of Customer personnel to achieve maritime warfare training outcomes.
The successful candidate will have generalist skills in order to act as a role player, professional interactor. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tactically accurate blue-force and/or red-force professional interactor functions
- Demonstrating proficiency in ADF tactics, doctrine and procedures
- Providing input to exercise related pre and post-event documentation
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure and to tight timeframes, and have the ability to build sound stakeholder relationships.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current ADF Simulation doctrine, tactics and procedures, experience working in a military training environment, and comprehension and use of military/RAN voice procedures.
Candidates must be eligible to access ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) information and have a minimum Security Clearance of NV1.
