Career Opportunity: Clinical Nurse Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality alcohol and drug services, working closely with medical officers, nurses, social workers, and lived experience advocates.

The role requires a registered nurse with significant experience in Alcohol and Drug services, as well as a working knowledge of Pharmacotherapy. You will be responsible for providing consultation, education, and treatment options for individuals struggling with substance addiction, particularly Opioid Dependency.

You will need to have:

  • Extensive experience as a registered nurse with demonstrated clinical expertise in treating complex clients with substance use and/or mental health issues
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practices used in the treatment and prevention of alcohol and other drug dependence
  • Well-developed leadership, communication, consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
