Leadership Role: Technical Advisor

Job Description:

This is a high-level leadership position that involves providing expert technical advice and guidance on complex matters. As a key team member, you will play a significant part in shaping strategies, engaging stakeholders, and contributing to broader planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical and technical advice using a mentoring approach.
  • Handle sensitive funding-related conversations and decisions with tact and diplomacy.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, partners, and service providers to ensure consistent and effective outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality written and verbal communication and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Prosthetics and Orthotics or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Speech Pathology or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Psychology or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Nursing (AHPRA eligible) or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Social Work or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Mental Health Practice or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Behavioural Support or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Medico-Legal Allied Health or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working in disability, hospital, or aged care settings.
  • Leadership and team management experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
