Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical point of contact for customer enquiries, offering expert advice and engineered solutions to meet their needs.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and recommend equipment modifications based on performance and design feasibility, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Support the sales cycle by translating technical requirements into practical, value-driven solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage quotations, convert them into sales, and oversee order accuracy and timely execution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate pricing, delivery, and communication with customers, ensuring expectations are met and relationships are built on trust.
  • Produce technical documentation and 2D CAD drawings to support design and compliance, facilitating efficient project management and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in valves, process equipment, or mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong technical aptitude with ability to interpret complex engineering requirements, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Background in technical sales or sales engineering roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset; strong culture fit with a focus on innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CAD and technical documentation, with experience working with various software tools and platforms.
