Job Overview:

The GitHub Copilot Developer plays a pivotal role in integrating and configuring GitHub Copilot Enterprise within the developer toolchain.

Key responsibilities include developing, testing, and optimizing workflows in GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and related Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), ensuring that developer configurations adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Additionally, this role involves collaborating with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts to ensure seamless technical delivery, and providing feedback on developer experience, performance, and Copilot effectiveness.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, testing, and optimizing workflows
  • Ensuring developer configurations adhere to industry standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Providing feedback on developer experience

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years' experience as a Software Developer in enterprise or government settings
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern IDEs and developer workflows
  • Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, especially within government compliance frameworks
  • Proven ability to work in Agile teams and contribute to iterative delivery
  • Exposure to or use of GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
