Position Overview:
The Business Consultant is tasked with influencing executive decision-makers to reconsider their operational strategies through the unique co-employment offerings of CoAdvantage. This role focuses on generating new client relationships and discerning the needs of businesses within the designated commercial markets. The primary goal is to cultivate new prospects and promote CoAdvantage's PEO services in alignment with annual sales targets. This position is primarily field-based, emphasizing a proactive approach with unlimited earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities leading to client acquisition
- Profile and manage daily sales activities
- Generate sales leads through self-initiated efforts, warm leads from BDRs, and business referrals
- Develop and sustain a network of small and mid-sized business owners
- Identify and establish potential partnerships
- Forge new connections weekly
- Meet or exceed monthly Key Performance Indicators
- Collaborate with C-Suite professionals to assess their business needs and promote CoAdvantage's products and services
- Represent CoAdvantage as a leading PEO provider
- Uphold CoAdvantage's Core Competencies and Values in all professional interactions
- Engage in special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in complex business solutions sales or 2 years in outside sales
- 3-5+ years of experience in a business environment
- Preferred experience in PEO consulting
- Strong understanding of employment and labor laws, workforce management best practices, and state/federal benefit regulations
- Experience in a consultative sales role is advantageous
- Documented success in complex solution-based sales
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capabilities
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Expertise in identifying and developing new complex sales opportunities
- Exceptional skills in customer acquisition
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent experience in a related area
