Job Description:

We're seeking a talented digital product designer to join our team and help shape the future of automotive in Australia. As an integral part of our expanding Drive Marketplace team, you will be responsible for elevating our digital products and delivering user-centric solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly translate ideas into interactive prototypes for testing and iteration, enabling faster validation and refinement of concepts.
  • Plan, conduct, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Utilize data analytics and insights to inform design decisions, measure the impact of your work, and optimize user experiences.
  • Explore and implement innovative ways to integrate AI into product workflows and user experiences, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Create high-fidelity UI designs, design systems, and component libraries that are intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure a seamless design-to-development handover and successful product launches.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills and Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in digital product design, UI/UX, with a strong portfolio.
  • A Bachelor's qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional software proficiency in Figma, from prototyping to design systems.
  • Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant Adobe tools.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a genuine passion for understanding complex challenges and translating them into user-centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.
