We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our operations in Western Australia. As State Manager, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, commercial acumen, and team development. They will possess the ability to set direction, inspire teams, and align regional operations with national objectives.
Main Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Set direction, inspire teams, and align WA operations with national objectives.
- Commercial Management: Own budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Drive profitability and manage risk.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships, identify new opportunities, and represent the company across industry forums.
- Team Development: Mentor and support multidisciplinary teams across engineering, project delivery, and operations.
- Compliance & Safety: Champion HSEQ standards and ensure legislative compliance.
- Culture & Values: Foster a workplace culture built on accountability, care, and innovation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven senior leadership experience in operations, project delivery, or workforce management.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and risk mitigation expertise.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of project lifecycle management and performance optimisation.
- Technical background in automation, control systems, or industrial engineering (highly regarded).
- C Class Driver's Licence.
