An exciting opportunity has arisen for a consultant within our waste management team. We're looking for an individual who enjoys working with an enthusiastic and committed team, is a good listener, and enjoys solving issues for clients.

Reporting to the Team Lead, you will work closely with consultants across the region, including specialists in contaminated sites, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, chemists, environmental engineers and more. Your role will be to deliver quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert advice on sustainable waste management and earth sciences.
  • To win and deliver waste management plans for developments.
  • to work on other waste-related projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering, or relevant degree with circa 1-3 years experience in consulting or a similar industry role.
  • Experience in sustainable waste management / environmental, preferably in local government, project development, and infrastructure sectors.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex situations/problems and develop appropriate solutions in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Extensive field experience undertaking site investigations, remediation supervision and monitoring.
  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy, including data management and manipulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
