Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Brisbane. The position involves pipeline integrity and maintenance experience with a strong understanding of local and international standards covering high-pressure pipelines (AS2885) and associated equipment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer to lead our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in anomaly assessments, defect assessment, fitness for service calculations, and failure investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anomaly Assessments and Analysis
  • Defect Assessment, Fitness for Service Calculations, and Modelling
  • Failure Investigations
  • Pipeline Management Systems Benchmarking and Audits

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to perform under pressure, and work individually and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Between 5- and 10-years work experience preferably within an integrity function in a hydrocarbons or chemical environment
  • Familiarity with CMMS interfaces such as SAP and workflow
  • Understanding of local and international standards covering the management of high-pressure pipelines (AS2885) and associated equipment
  • Knowledge of computerized integrity management software/databases
  • Exposure to risk management and process safety concepts
  • Understanding and capability of performing FFS and RBI assessments
