Maintenance Operations Role Overview

Pact Group, a leading manufacturer of circular and sustainable packaging solutions, seeks a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and reliability of our industrial plant and equipment.

The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, minimizing downtime, and optimizing production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to support production goals and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  2. Lead and manage maintenance team activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  3. Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring they are conducted safely and efficiently.
  4. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues, minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
  5. Manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring cost-effectiveness and transparency.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including asset management, total productive maintenance (TPM), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  5. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  6. Experience with maintenance management software, such as SAP or CMMS.
