About the Role

We are currently looking for a Principal Water Process Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver project and design management services to clients in the water sector. Our Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Section is engaged in long-term framework agreements with major clients across various regions, and you will have the opportunity to work with interstate clients.

This position also offers the chance to engage in international projects and connect with global industry leaders. Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Water Process Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert consultancy services in the Water Infrastructure sector across the ANZ region.
  • Overseeing project delivery, managing client relationships, and offering technical leadership throughout ANZ.
  • Collaborating with commercial, operational, sales, and technical leaders to develop strategies, pursue opportunities, and deliver a range of projects that achieve successful outcomes.
  • Supporting the management of the NSW Water Infrastructure Section and the broader ANZ water group, focusing on team development, mentoring, and portfolio growth.
  • Leading technical and project initiatives for water infrastructure design projects and providing guidance on large-scale consulting and planning efforts.
  • Staying informed about new technologies and industry developments to contribute to the strategic direction of the group.
  • Driving business development and managing work-winning activities, including client engagement and proposal support.
  • Ensuring compliance with Jacobs' QA/QC procedures, including deliverable and commercial reviews.
  • Facilitating the professional development of junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and supporting Jacobs' commitment to health and safety initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in water infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Exceptional multidisciplinary integration skills and a broad understanding of the various disciplines involved in water infrastructure projects.
  • A successful track record in client relationship management and project delivery.
