About the RoleAs a Design Manager with John Holland's Infrastructure division, you'll play a critical role in delivering complex projects that shape the nation's infrastructure landscape. With a strong track record of delivering high-profile projects, we're seeking an experienced professional to lead our design management team on a major water infrastructure project in regional NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design strategies to ensure project objectives are met
- Manage external design partners to deliver high-quality designs within budget and timeframe
- Coordinate design approvals and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Prepare and manage design budgets and schedules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design meets project needs
- Lead and develop design management staff to ensure project success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
- 5-10 years' experience in technical management roles on significant projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficient in relevant computer software packages
- Excellent time and cost management skills
