Opportunity Overview

Civeo seeks experienced FIFO Sous Chefs to excel in liaising between Head Chefs and Line Chefs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Liaise with Head Chef and Line Chefs
  • Supervise and manage team of chefs
  • Create service schedules
  • Manage inventory, ordering, profit, and wastage reporting

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' cumulative chef experience in remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO)
  • 2+ years' experience supervising and managing a team of chefs
  • Strong experience in bulk/batch cooking environment
  • Ordering, profit, and wastage reporting
  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate
  • Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in bulk cooking environment
  • Able to work nightshift where required
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications
