Sustainability Data Analyst

Australia Post is committed to delivering exceptional results while minimizing its environmental footprint. As a key member of the Group Sustainability Office, you will play a vital role in enhancing the company's positive social, environmental, and economic impacts.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and Analyze Data: Gather, review, and maintain internal performance data and information focused on sustainability initiatives and programs across all Australia Post operations.
- Develop Data Visualizations: Create and build data visualizations and dashboards to report sustainability-related performance, providing actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
- Support Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Manager, Sustainability Performance & Reporting, and other team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure Compliance: Support timely and compliant reporting to the Australian Packaging Covenant and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collate and Manage Sustainability Information: Assist with the collection and management of sustainability-related information, as well as the development of presentations and reports as required.
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented individual who is passionate about transforming complex data sets into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to simplify complex processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Corporate Responsibility Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Data Visualization Experience: Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Extensive experience in working with complex data sets using Microsoft Office Suite.
