The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in capital management and have experience working within the financial services industry. A degree in accounting, finance, or actuarial science is mandatory, with a Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification being desirable.

As a Capital Modelling Strategist, you will be responsible for providing support in executing key responsibilities of the team, including stress testing and scenario analysis across the Group, investment strategy analysis and advice, and strategic deliverables within Capital and Investment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of stress testing and scenario analysis across the Group
  • Supporting the delivery of investment strategy analysis and advice
  • Supporting the strategic deliverables within Capital and Investment with analysis and advice, including the completion of ad-hoc analysis of capital scenarios and other projects/initiatives to support, develop and deliver upon the capital strategy.

Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

To succeed as a Capital Modelling Strategist at Suncorp Group, you must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
