About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of mobile plant assets and transport fleet. This involves coordinating scheduling and planning of asset maintenance and inspections, monitoring asset utilisation and performance to identify optimisation opportunities, liaising with teams and suppliers for timely asset procurement, deployment, and repairs, maintaining detailed asset registers and records for informed decision-making, implementing and enforcing asset management policies and procedures, generating reports and analysis for visibility on asset status and usage, and supporting continuous improvement of asset management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan asset maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal utilisation and performance.
  • Monitor and analyse asset data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient asset procurement, deployment, and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Analyse and report on asset performance and status to inform business strategy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in asset management, logistics, or a related field are preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an asset coordination or similar role is required.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail, are essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are necessary for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in using asset management software and data analysis tools is required.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices is desirable.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement is essential.
