Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Asset Design team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to create liveable, safe and sustainable urban environments through the design of stormwater infrastructure and catchment management.
  • Coordinate and prepare technical policy documents, research and strategic plans, providing technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage financial budgets and oversee the delivery of program activities.
  • Collaborate with developers to coordinate stormwater management designs with road infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 8 years post-qualification experience in survey, investigation and design of stormwater management infrastructure and cost estimates.
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualification and National Engineering Registration (NER).
  • Proven experience in leading and managing design teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt management approaches for diverse stormwater, floodplain and road infrastructure situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
