Job Title

A senior academic leadership position has been created to oversee the strategic and operational management of a School of Population Health. The role is responsible for supporting the Faculty Dean in developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning programs, as well as aligning and integrating the School's teaching and research with the Faculty and its partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School of Population Health
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning programs
  • Align and integrate the School's teaching and research with the Faculty and its partners
  • Manage teaching and research quality and impact within the School in line with Faculty and UNSW strategic objectives
  • Lead a team of academic staff and the School Manager

Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant discipline area
  • Outstanding record in research and academic excellence
  • Track record of outstanding achievement and leadership in a managerial role
  • Strong potential for innovation in education and program development
  • Experience engaging with key stakeholders in the field
  • Demonstrated capacity for leading research, education delivery, and health/public health system change management
