We are seeking a highly skilled Import/Export Coordinator to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our global supply chain, you will be responsible for executing import and export activities in accordance with PPD requirements, client needs, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Execute import and export activities in accordance with PPD requirements, client needs, and applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement import and export/trade compliance plans for assigned projects.
- Perform logistics and administrative activities as needed to support department growth.
- Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager to discuss import and export issues and provide recommendations.
- Participate in ongoing training on new regulations concerning import/export and GMP activities.
- Maintain import/export documentation files and updated PPD-owned metrics indicators reports.
- Intermediate English language skills and strong communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of the clinical supply process, including manufacturing, handling, importing, shipping, exporting, auditing, labeling, and packaging.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently with moderate direct supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail aligned with high standards of quality and excellence.
- Adaptive to changes and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
