Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving transformation and improvement in business processes and systems within the Finance department.

Your primary responsibility will be to document business, system, and operational requirements for decommissioning legacy applications, working closely with Finance and Business colleagues to ensure seamless execution.

You will engage with stakeholders to develop and document requirements for decommissioning Oracle Essbase and EPM, collaborate with project teams, SMEs, IT support, and vendors to define requirements, operational changes, data mapping, and data lineage.

To succeed in this position, you will need to facilitate collaboration across business lines, removing roadblocks and enabling open communication among stakeholders, SMEs, designers, developers, and testers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and documenting requirements for decommissioning Oracle Essbase and EPM
  • Collaborating with project teams, SMEs, IT support, and vendors to define requirements, operational changes, data mapping, and data lineage
  • Facilitating collaboration across business lines to enable open communication among stakeholders
Requirements
  • Tertiary education or relevant industry certification
  • Experience as a Business Analyst
  • Extensive experience with complex business technology projects in a Finance context
  • Proven ability to develop solutions across teams in hybrid/agile environments with multiple vendors and business groups
Nice to Have
  • Financial services background, particularly capital markets knowledge
  • Experience with Workday
  • Oracle experience (Essbase, EPM)
