Job Summary:
A key position is available for an experienced Payroll Operations Manager to join our team in Australia.
This pivotal role will drive cutting-edge payroll solutions, enabling a diverse workforce to be paid accurately and on time. Reporting to the Head of Global Payroll, you will leverage your expertise in Australian payroll regulations and best practices to transform our payroll processes and deliver a world-class employee experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of payroll, supporting internal and external stakeholders on projects involving employee pay or accounting processes.
- Ensure the integrity of the payroll system and process.
- Oversight of monthly and weekly payrolls processing payments for approximately 7,000 employees, with preparation of month-end and year-end payroll reporting.
- Deep dive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement to streamline payroll processes.
- Anticipate downstream impacts from process, policy, system, or legislation changes.
- Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll, employee relations, or human resources.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, law, or employee relations.
