Financial Services Manager

The Australian Federal Police is seeking a Financial Services Manager to join its team in Brisbane, Australia.

This role involves supporting the delivery of procurement services, financial policy advice, management accounting and reporting, asset management, fleet services, and facilities services for Northern Command.

  • As a Financial Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial and commercial compliance of Northern Command.
  • You will be responsible for performing a range of corporate activities, including analysing data, developing reports, and providing finance and commercial services to the Command.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer Portfolio, national teams/centres of excellence to contribute to the procurement of goods and services.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, business risk analysis, and budget development.
  • Support the delivery of Northern Command NC procurement activities in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 PGPA Act.
  • Maintain accurate information on all NC fleet vehicles and perform asset management activities, including stocktakes and asset disposal.
Essential Requirements
  • Australian citizenship at the time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 1 Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a finance role or financial qualifications.
  • Demonstrated capacity to produce quality reports suitable for a range of audiences.
