Whizdom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to support the delivery and strategic planning for various transformation programs.

Major Responsibilities

  • Developing capability roadmaps, models, and plans to drive forward delivery outcomes for the organization, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing complex Systems-of-Systems (SoS) Solutions Architecture to achieve business objectives.
  • Participating in planning, defining, and solution exploration.
  • Managing target design, policies, and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program, and gaining endorsement by the program's Design Authority.
  • Monitoring industry products to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies.
  • Identifying system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies and balancing competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
  • Identifying, documenting, and resolving issues and or problems that arise during the course of capability development cycle.
  • Delivering capability utilizing the systems engineering lifecycle, including the development of system designs and complex design documentation.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 5-10 years' experience developing solution architectures for complex projects.
  • Strong leadership experience and skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (desirable).
  • Experience managing complex projects (desirable).

Security Requirements

  • Candidates require an active TSPV clearance or have had the clearance downgraded in the last 12 months.
  • Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client-requested checks.
