Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implement Telephony Solutions: Develop and implement strategic plans for telephony solutions, aligning with organisational goals and industry best practice to ensure long-term success and adaptability.
- Configure and Manage Telephony Features: Configure and manage advanced telephony features, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the organisation.
- Integrate Telephony with Other Systems: Oversee the integration of telephony with other communication systems where required to ensure seamless interoperability and efficient communication workflows.
- Monitor and Analyze System Performance: Monitor and analyse system performance, identify areas for improvement, implement solutions and set maintenance programs to enhance call quality and maintain system efficiency.
- Lead and Mentor Team Members: Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting and resolving complex telephony issues. Foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment, leading and promoting information and record management practices.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders including ICT teams, telephony providers and third-party vendors to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of telephony solutions. Manage relationships effectively.
- Australian Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with DPS, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- Security Clearance: The preferred applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level specified, as well as complete and be deemed suitable through a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
- Health Assessment: A pre-employment health assessment will be required where there are physical or medical requirements for the role.
