Job Summary:

This is a lead role helping the organisation understand how data products can solve customer and business pain points.

The role leads the definition of business requirements, value and outcomes for Data Product families, works with engineering teams to build and test the products and embeds with the business teams to track the data products and ensure value realisation.

The role works closely with Executive/Senior Data Product Owners, business/operations teams, data teams and tech teams to create data products with deep roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs and works as part of cross functional teams to deliver, run and enhance the products.

A key focus will be ensuring that businesses understand and use the products and that there are clear metrics used to track the value of the product over time.

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

  • Experience as an AWS Data Bricks.
  • Demonstrated experience in turning business use cases and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of AWS Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, and Azure SQL is required.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing Modelling- optional
  • Experience in business processing mapping of data and analytics solutions.
  • Good understanding OR ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
  • The ability to apply such methods to solve business problems using one or more AWS Data and Analytics services in combination with building data pipelines, data streams, and system integration.
  • Knowledge/experience in AWS IoT, Databricks / Spark, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Stream Analytics is Mandatory
  • Experience preparing data for Data Science / Machine Learning / BI solutions
  • Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams.
