The role of Senior Finance Director is a key position in our company's commercial construction business.
Job Overview
This challenging opportunity requires an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in financial management and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Financial Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of financial reports, including cash flow, budget vs actual analysis, and balance sheets.
- External Liaison: Liaise with external stakeholders, including accountants, solicitors, and insurance providers.
- KPI Analysis: Perform regular KPI reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including BAS preparation and payroll processing.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Substantial experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, preferably in a construction business with a turnover of $50mil+
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency and ability to work with various systems
