Community Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Community Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about community building, communication, and problem-solving.

As a Community Manager, you will play a key role in engaging with and supporting various community groups to set them up for success. You will work closely with our team, clients, partners, creatives, entrepreneurs, and other groups across both client projects and community initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community development principles, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to operate independently while being part of a dynamic team. Experience working in CRM databases and analyzing performance metrics is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop diverse community groups for our client and impact projects using data-driven insights.
  • Foster strong relationships with intersectional communities, Allies, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute programs to engage communities, including workshops, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage community portfolios and share best practices to help groups succeed and stay engaged.
  • Implement retention strategies to ensure long-term engagement of communities.
  • Track and analyze community growth metrics to measure engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Solicit, organize, and contextualize feedback from the community.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in an early-stage startup or agency.
  • Deep love for community and desire to elevate women of color.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel and attend events.
  • Strong people skills and ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects.
  • Kind heart and love for digital storytelling.
