Job Title: Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Hobart. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work remotely and report to the Head of Regional Services for Victoria and Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop Behaviour Analysis Support Plans
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions
  • Support Behaviour Therapists and Support Workers
  • Perform Behaviour Therapist duties if required
  • Provide support and training to employees on clinical techniques
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work with professionals to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of incidents and plans
  • Assist the Regional Clinical Manager as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, or Behaviour Therapist
  • High-level oral and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Current NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check
  • Valid driver's licence and vehicle
  • Willingness to complete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour Support
