Job Description

MedHealth Group is seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our NDIS team in a dynamic and autonomous role. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

This role requires a strong background in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and experience in developing and delivering evidence-based support plans. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that individual plans reflect the passions and interests of our NDIS participants, promoting their quality of life and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and person-centred planning to identify individual needs and develop meaningful goals and strategies.
  • Develop Behaviour Support Plans utilising a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality support services.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in allied health or social care, with eligibility to register with the relevant membership body.
  • Eligible to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a PBS Practitioner.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering positive behaviour support.
  • A compassionate and supportive demeanour.
  • A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one).
