**Job Opportunity: Horticulture Trainee** Are you passionate about gardening and horticulture? Do you enjoy working outdoors and with your hands? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Horticulture Trainee. As a Horticulture Trainee, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to garden and grounds maintenance, including mulching, pruning, potting, and watering plants. You will also be involved in tree removal, using woodchippers and other garden machinery and tools, brushing cutting and mowing, pest and weed control, and installing and maintaining irrigation pipes and watering systems. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess good communication skills, be committed, reliable, and hardworking, manage and prioritize time when working under pressure, work effectively in a team and unsupervised, and have a can-do attitude, displaying initiative on the job. The ideal candidate will have a provisional or full driver's licence with own vehicle, be physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work, satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test, and previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or similar trade (advantageous). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience, paid training, relevant licences, and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to kickstart your gardening career.
